Cloth spine in poor condition, with large pieces missing (c. 40% missing) and split down its entire length. Boards in good minus condition. 1/2"loss of cloth at edges of corners of boards. Binding very loose with many leaves and gatherings detached or nearly detached. Plates all present. Offsetting from plates. A good copy for rebinding or for the plates only. This volume covers the monkeys and apes. The attractive plates include the Black Orang; The Red or Asiatic Orang-Outang; The Active Gibbon; and various monkeys. ; 12mo
